Create multi language website with WordPress polylang
This tutorial shows you how to create multi-language WordPress website by using polylang plugin.
It focuses on how to setting up polylang language switch menu. put polylang switch to different locations of wordpress header. the solution of polylang menu not changing the problem.

this tutorial includes:
1.solution of how to hide polylang current language.
make sure your check the "Hides the current language"
2.solution of only show flag of polylang.
make sure you check "Displays flags"
3.solution of put polylang switch to right side of the logo in the header of wordpress.
you need add polylang short code "pll_the_languages" to the header.php
4.solution of how to remove (delete) bullets (dot) before the polylang language flag:
add css code: list-style: none;
5.solution of polylang menu not changing:
you need add new menu for the second language, and then make sure you check
"Desktop Horizontal Menu (second language)"
6.solution of after click polylang switch it go to the home page:
that's becasue you do not have the seocnd language for that page, so after you click it, it can not find the translated page, then by default you will be linck to the home page.
7.solution of polylang switch not working:
you may try to uncheck "Hides the current language". if that works. then that means you also need create different languange for you home page. and in the setting change the home page to static page.
