RVers: Wood or Propane for Campfires? 🏕️

Both have their benefits and hassles:Propane is easy on, easy off, it burns clean without smoke or smell, and you can use it in many placed open flame ground fires are not permitted.
However, there is an ambiance created by the smoke, smell, and sight of a wood fire that holds a special place in many peoples hearts that just can’t be replicated by a gas fire.
But, then you have to locally source firewood, and tend it, and make sure its properly doused and cooled when you’re finished. Many RVs are already carrying propane onboard - so its connect, light and enjoy with just as easy shut off when its time to go to bed.
