If your Cisco switch has no password set, you can easily perform a full factory reset by removing the configuration files directly from the flash.
Remember: VLAN settings are stored separately, so deleting the startup-config alone won’t reset your VLANs.
Steps:
1- Enter Privilege Mode → enable
2- Show flash files → show flash
3- Delete main config → erase startup-config OR delete flash:config.txt
4- Delete VLAN database → delete flash:vlan.dat
5- Reload without saving → reload → no
Your switch will reboot with clean factory-default settings.
