The WRT3200ACM provides excellent coverage and plenty of bandwidth to connect and stream to all of your devices. The web-based basic setup is super simple. Advanced setup is simple allowing for the most common options to be easily found.
The WRT3200ACM is a fairly hefty router, it feels like there is actually something inside. The front display has all the status lights. They, thankfully, aren't overly intrusive like on some other routers. You can shut them off in the advanced setup.
On either side of the router, you have an antenna. On the back, from left to right, is where you have the WPS button, 4 Gigabit ethernet ports, and the uplink port to your modem. Next, we have the USB 3.0 port and the eSATA/USB2.0 port. Last we have the reset button, power port, and power switch.
The basic web based setup is quick and painless, All the steps are laid out in a couple pages. The first asks about the TOS and anonymous statistical data, then automatic network detection, then setting network name and password, and finally your routers password. The last optional step is to set up a SmartWiFi account with Linksys.
The only issued I had setting up the WRT3200ACM, through the web interface, was that I had to have the modem plugged in. Otherwise, the basic setup failed. Once I got through the basic setup I was able to get to the advanced settings that allowed for static routes, Dynamic DNS services, You can check out my other videos if you have any other questions on those advanced settings.
My current network has over 30 devices on it spread out throughout my house inside and outside. My furthest devices are wireless cameras and they have to transmit their data through multiple floors and walls and they seem to be able to do that without any issues. I am able to stream movies and videos around the network without any issues.
I highly recommend the WRT3200ACM by Linksys
