This video covers a 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro (A2141) that suddenly turned off and would not power on or respond to charging. A data recovery engineer diagnosed the fault with a multimeter and traced it to a short circuit on the NAND power line. Corrosion was found under a component, so the repair required replacing the NAND power IC, removing a damaged capacitor, and reballing the power chip to rebuild the connections. After restoring stable power to the NAND area, over 800,000 files were recovered, including 50,000 photos and videos and 25,000 documents, plus applications and other user data stored on the onboard SSD.
