Install pip in Arch: sudo pacman -S python-pip
Install ffmpeg in Arch: sudo pacman -S ffmpeg
Install whisper: pip install git+https://github.com/openai/whisper.git
Go to desired folder: cd /path/
Transcribe audio to text:
whisper --language ru --model large -o ./result -- your_file.mp3
In theory, Whisper can also be run in Subtitle Edit on Windows.
