Farnell LFP1 Sine Square Oscillator Signal Generator - Part 1 Checking & Testing
I picked up this rather charming Farnell LFP1 Oscillator recently on eBay. It looks in really nice condition but has a rather short power lead! In this episode I'm just going to take a look inside, see what the caps are like and power it up for a quick test. If all is good I'll order some replacement capacitors for it and in part 2 I'll replace the caps, give it a test & see if it needs any calibration.
Let's hook it up to the oscilloscope and have a look at the sine & square waves.
This is a really well made signal generator and is a joy to work on!
