Fix Quest Controller Drift- Rebuild the Joystick (Quest 2 Tips 2022)
Controller drift on the Quest 2 is the one thing that drives everyone a little crazy. Performing an electronic calibration or cleaning usually work for awhile, but eventually the drift refuses to stop.
When that happens and you're thinking it's time to buy a new controller, then you're ready to Rebuild the Transducer. It's a process that takes time and attention to detail, but it can get your Quest 2 controller working again when nothing else can.

To perform this procedure, you'll need to disassemble your controller down to the circuit board. You'll need this Controller Teardown and Assembly video to show you how to get there.
