A private pilot is not an airline captain.
On June 7, 2012, a pilot from Kansas, USA, crashed his Pilatus PC-12 into a swamp in Florida with his family of five. The cause was not only an overestimation of his own flying skills, but also an underestimation of the aircraft, which has unfortunately proven fatal for many PC-12 pilots.
