GOODBYE SEASON 16!!! Apex Legends Season 17 COUNTDOWN has STARTED!!!
The release date and start time for Season 17 of Apex Legends have finally been confirmed, and there's now only a matter of days to go until players can get their hands on a brand new Legend, experience a plethora of new ranked changes, and plenty more.
Ballistic, the star and new Legend of Season 17: Arsenal, is the oldest Legend to be joining the Apex Games at 63 years old. Defined as an "older gentleman living with a beast inside," Ballistic is part of the assault class category and will come with three exclusive abilities for players to test out and possibly even switch up the meta.
Whistler, which is Ballistic's tactical ability, allows him to shoot a projectile that heats up an enemy's gun as they shoot. Whilst his passive ability, Sling, allows Ballistic to store a third weapon. Then there's Tempest, Ballistic's ultimate ability, which allows for faster reloads, faster unarmed move speed, and infinite ammo when activated.

Season 16 of Apex Legends will come to an end on Tuesday, May 9th. This will be the final day to play the current season of Apex Legends before a new update is deployed to mark the beginning of Season 17: Arsenal.
Apex Legends Season 17 Release Date And Start Time
Season 17 of Apex Legends will be released on Tuesday, May 9th at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM BST. Players will be prompted to download a new patch update at the aforementioned date and time before they can jump into the new season.
