1. Driver and RD Service Installation

Restart Service: After installation, press Win + R, type services.msc, find "Morpho RD Service," and click Restart.
2. Browser & Communication Settings
For the device to communicate with the pension portal, you must adjust the configuration settings:
Communication Mode: Go to C:\LocalHost\MorphoRdServiceL0Soft (or similar path for L1) and open the ConfigSettings.ini file. Change Communication Mode to 0 (for HTTP) or 1 (for HTTPS) depending on the portal's requirement. For e-Labharthi, HTTP (0) is commonly used.
SSL Certificate Fix: If the device is not detected, navigate to the IDEMIA folder in your C: drive and delete the CERT file, then restart the RD service.
3. Portal Setup (e-Labharthi)
Chrome Flags: If the biometric light does not glow, open Google Chrome and go to chrome://flags/#allow-insecure-localhost. Set this to Enabled and relaunch the browser.
Device Selection: On the e-Labharthi KYC page, use the Refresh Device button. Ensure "Morpho" is selected in the dropdown menu before clicking "Capture".
4. Common Troubleshooting for 2025
Capture Not Done Error: This is often a server-side issue or a mismatch in the Communication Mode setting. Ensure your RD service status shows "Ready to Use" in the system tray.
Validity Check: Ensure your Morpho RD Service subscription is active. You can verify your device's validity on the RD Service Check Status page.
