Art for Protest: Protest for Art
On May 1, 2017 City Lore joined forces with the Pen World Voices Festival to stage "Art for Protest: Protest for Art." Outside of Cooper Union in Manhattan, we projected images of some of the most creative signs from protests following the 2016 election.
Chris Jordan masterfully designed the projections; Bob Holman served as MC. The project was part of City Lore and Bowery Arts + Science's POEMobile initiative.
