Tech for disabled community benefits everyone
Ariel Simms is CEO and President of Disability Belongs.The nonprofit works to create systemic change in how society views and values people with disabilities.
"A lot of things ... meant for the disability community end up being used by people outside of the community," Simms said. "Texting, for example, was a result of the disability community and deaf individuals trying to communicate. And who doesn't love texting these days?"
