This is the fifth part of the #15FactorApp series. We look at logs and Admin Processes in this penultimate part of the series.
Logs are about treating the logs as a stream of events. This makes it easier for development teams to focus on app development and shift the focus to cloud providers for aggregating, storing, and visualizing logs.
Admin processes are one-off processes like database migration or data patching scripts. These need to be treated the same as the application process. However, with cloud-native apps, the current scenario can be addressed using serverless technologies.
