This Tactical Shooter Slowly Turns Into PURE Horror... - A.A.U. Black Site
A.A.U. Black Site is a tactical horror FPS blending military action, psychological horror and cinematic set pieces into one ambitious early access package. In this first impressions video, I check out the opening chapters to see how the combat, atmosphere and overall direction of the game come together. At times it feels torn between being a grounded tactical shooter, a blockbuster military campaign like Battlefield or Call of Duty, and a horror FPS inspired by classics like F.E.A.R., but honestly the horror sections were where this game really came alive for me. There’s a surprising amount of promise here for a small indie team and while it absolutely has rough edges and identity issues right now, there’s a lot of potential if the developers can refine the direction during early access.
