Steps on how to create mirror effect in Photoshop :-
1. So the first step is to create a duplicate of the image by pressing CTRL + J and then click on Create new fill or adjustment layer icon and select Solid color over there and then set the color as Black and then click Ok , after that bring the solid color layer below the duplicate image layer.
2. Now make the duplicate image layer active and then select the crop tool and then expand the image sideways and now select rectangular marquee tool and then make the selection of the model from left shoulder and then make vertical rectangle and then right click over there and select Layer via cut , now hide the new layer and make the model layer active.
3. Now do this step until the right shoulder is reached and then delete the model layer, after that select the lowest cutted layer and unhide it and then using move tool move it to the extreme right , now do this with all cutted layers while keeping some gaps between 2 layers.
4. Now make the top cutted layer active and then press SHIFT and select the bottom cutted layer which will select both the layers and all the layers in between and then press CTRL + G which will merge all the layers into a group.
5. Then press CTRL + J to create a duplicate of the group and then right click on the group and select Convert to smart object over there and then go to Filter and click on blur and select Gaussian blur over there and then set the radius to 5 px and then press Ok.
6. Now bring this layer below the original group layer and then select move tool and using move tool move the image either to the left or right whichever direction is best suited also while moving try to complete the face and now after that press CTRL + G to create a group with this layer inside it.
7. Now click on Add layer style icon and select blending options over there and then click on color overlay over there and then select the color as black and mode as normal and decrease the opacity to 20% and then make the other group layer active and then click on Add layer style icon and select blending options over there and select Bevel & Emboss over there and then set the following as follows :- Style : Outer Bevel , Technique : Chisel Hard , Depth : 1000% , Direction : up , Size : 10px , Highlight mode : (Color : Black , Opacity : 100% , Mode : Normal ) , Shadow mode : ( Color : black , opacity : 50% , Mode : normal)and then click Ok.
8. Now make the top layer active and then click on Create new fill or adjustment layer icon and select Solid color and then select the color as black and then make the mask of the solid color active and then set the foreground color as black and then select the brush tool and brush as Soft round and then increase the size of the brush according to the height of the image and then click on the image which will bring back the image giving a nice black background surrounding it and to bring more image back click more on the image using brush tool.
9. Now to give a better touch up click on Create new fill or adjustment layer icon and select gradient map over there and then select the Gradient as Voilet , Orange and then reduce the opacity of the gradient map to 15% .
So this will give you your Mirror effect image.
