In my new video, I explore what our "traditional spiritual and moral values" are, whether Russia is a conservative country, and what it means to be a true conservative. The episodes feature conservative philosophy (Burke, Scruton, Oakeshott), a bit of Marxism (Hobsbawm), and Slavophiles, who, as it turns out, would give any anarchists a run for their money (as you can imagine, these are the times when we need to revive Russian philosophy in every way possible, so we are). Update. I made a mistake in one small detail: the patriarchate was established not under Ivan IV, but under Feodor Ivanovich in 1589.
