'm Tom, and I'm excited to share this video with you all. I'm currently in Redcliffe, and I just had to take a moment to show you this stunning view of the ocean and Morton Island in the background. But that's not why I'm here today. I've been invited to a national conference by one of Australia's leading chemical manufacturers to share my thoughts on the pest industry's current state and where it's headed.
As the representative of Suburban Pest Management, it's an honor to have been given this opportunity. Our vision for the company is to be the go-to company for pest management in Australia. It's not just about providing services to clients; we want to be the preferred choice for technicians, other companies, suppliers, and manufacturers.
Suburban Pest Management has a rich history, starting with my parents' hard work in 1994. Kahlee, my wife, and I took over the company 10 years ago when we were both 23 years old. We had only nine staff members at the time, including us, and it was a scary but exciting time for us. We used our parents' values as a foundation and added our own touch, such as implementing technology and marketing strategies.
