Flip (perpetual) CALENDAR from the USSR
A flip (perpetual) calendar from the USSR.
Since half past six in the morning, I've been obsessively disassembling and carefully restoring this item.
Not everyone will understand its purpose in this age of high technology and portable, multifunctional electronic devices, but people of my generation probably remember playing with such an analog calendar as children. 🙂
Every year, such simple, reliable, and trouble-free little things are becoming fewer and fewer. I'd like to keep one of these for myself... as a reminder of the time "when the trees were big" 🙂
