IBS contacted us to propose a rather significant improvement: replacing Ivano's lead-acid battery (the kind installed in all their cars, so to speak) with a lithium battery.
All services depend on this power unit: the water pump, heating, refrigerator, lights, USB ports, even the spark from the gas stove; in fact, energy autonomy is one of the main issues to be solved.
For the same size, the Revolithium we installed has double the capacity and half the weight, the ability to quickly charge simply by starting the engine, and a Bluetooth connection to monitor everything from your phone.
Before this change, the rule was to keep the refrigerator on low and not to charge batteries or phones from the van to avoid draining the old AGM battery, a problem that forced us to camp far too often.
With this battery and a solar panel, we officially have full energy autonomy for our Ivano.
A special thanks goes to Mauro, the protagonist of the video, who disassembled and reassembled everything for us in an hour.
You can order the battery from authorized retailers or contact REVOLITHIUM directly
