Kwizma - Blizzard
RustOut Records has managed to bring someone out of the shadow and into the light. With his first official release, Kwizma has shown us a glimpse of his version of the deep side of dubstep. Starting underground with “Cave Drops”, the mood quickly darkens as the heavy bass hits you in the chest paired with the iconic sounds echoing through the dark. Moving to the surface into “The Forest”, the upbeat percussion stirs things around while the bass and heavy growls are always deep-rooted in the background. Crossing over to “Blizzard”, the fast paced cymbals and high hats set the scene as you wait for the incoming storm. As it ruthlessly hits you time and time again with bassy punches, you know this is a force to be reckoned with. Kwizma’s “The Forest EP” is an all round bass weighty story, showcasing his ability to create visual scenes with nothing but sound.
