Mint sugar recipe.

Welcome to the Dobrye Recipes channel!
Today you will learn how to make mint sugar - a delicious ingredient for many dishes. Where can you use this additive? As a replacement for regular sugar and mint leaves for a Mojito cocktail, as an additive to cookies, baked goods, as a sweetener in smoothies, for making aromatic tea or lemonade.

Ingredients:
Fresh mint - 1 bunch.
Sanded sugar - 200g.

We sort out the mint sprigs, throwing away old ones or those eaten by insects. Wash thoroughly and let dry. Tear off the leaves from the sprigs and put them in a blender bowl. The sprigs can be dried in the shade, in a cool dry place, either in a bunch, or cut into small pieces to then put in a glass jar or plastic container. They can be added to tea or herbal infusions.

But let's get back to mint sugar. After the leaves, pour sugar into a blender and pour 1-2 tablespoons of boiled water.

The proportions need to be adjusted to your taste, depending on how rich you want the product to be. First, make a small portion, adding a little mint. Let the mint sugar sit for half an hour so that the granulated sugar is well saturated with mint juice and try it. If the taste seems too rich to you, then add sugar. If too weak - mint leaves.

Chop with a blender for 20 seconds in turbo mode. Transfer the resulting mass to a sterilized jar and put it in the refrigerator for storage. Take it out as needed and enjoy the refreshing taste!
