Well, guys, another DIY machine.
I've been wanting to build a hydraulic press for a while, and now any service station would be jealous.
We built it in two weeks, including a week spent figuring out how to connect the components, measure and make the hoses, paint it, and assemble it after painting.
There's nothing similar out there, but you can make it cheaper if you search for all the components on a used market.
My press cost $400, not including labor and energy costs.
A similar new press costs around $2,000.
