The Pesky Invader: Elden Ring Highlights 234 (ft. Raelmer & Mahervrik)
At the end of last episode, frustrations mounted as we could not take down Loretta on Mahervrik's file, so today we try something different. Raelmer must speak with the Dung Eater on his file in order to obtain his puppet, so Kilson joins for the fun of it. Little do they know that, what should be a simple interaction quest soon turns into a 30 minute plus PVP chase through the treacherous sewer systems under Leyndell, whilst staving off disgusting and dangerous fiends. What may have been a harmless invasion, turns into a nightmare as the invader "Old Gaurd" decides to play very hard to get and has us chasing him throughout the dungeon in hopes that we will be killed by monsters so he can accumulate runes. Kilson and Raelmer refuse to give in, resulting in this suspenseful pursuit, condensed for your viewing pleasure. Who will come out victorious?
After the PVP encounter is over, the duo rendezvous with Mahervrik to take another stab at Loretta up in treetop town. It takes a single attempt this time, and we're able to continue down to Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, stopping to take in the majestic view as we descend the spiral staircase surrounding the trunk of the massive tree. We also pick up an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone along the way. We reach the cathedral at the bottom of the elevator and get into some trouble with another invader, but ultimately secure the next grace site and poise ourselves to make for Malenia in the coming volumes!
