When importing files recorded via OBS into Adobe Premiere Pro, there’s a bit of prep work required to get them ready. OBS records in MKV format by default, but Adobe Premiere stopped supporting MKV files in 2019. If you try to import an MKV file, you’ll see an error stating that the file has an unsupported compression type.
