Castration - A process of emasculation
Castration is widely used term related to removal of testicles , often joined with removal of external genitalia (penis and testicular sacs). The process is often used for sterilization, surgical or clinical treatment conditions (for treatment of cancerous testicles, Prostate cancer etc). It may be considered as medical as well as physical disorder sharply dropping libido , sperm production, sexual interest and behavior. Castrated human males are Eunuchs, who had great importance during emperical culture holding remarkable positions of great trust and power like ministers, admirals, Generals etc. However , they were also given this as punishment for sex related crimes and were deported as slaves, guards in Harems. Several surgical, chemical , radiotherapy , even manual ways are the different methods used to perform the act.
