In this video we are going to cover Attach Image command for Geo Referencing in CADPower for AutoCAD, BricsCAD, ZWCAD and ARES Commander Software.

Command Description:
A GeoTIFF file is an image format that has the positional (location) information embedded within and the image as metadata.
This video shows how you can attach a GeoTIFF image in BricsCAD and make it sit at the exact geographical coordinates and scale as defined by the image.
A GeoTIFF file does not the TFW require world file. It derives its location information from metadata.
The Easting and Northing coordinates of the Lower Left corner, the pixel size, and the number of pixels in X and Y directions are enough to scale up the image so that it sits correctly inside its geographic matrix in the CAD drawing.
