Even with the knife in his hand and bloodlust in his eyes, Boyfriend hasn't attacked Sans. Not to mention that Boyfriend himself is still alive and well. A perplexed and frustrated Sans stares at Boyfriend as he suddenly stops, his expression quickly changing between fighting and homicidal madness. But in the back of Boyfriend's mind, he is fighting something, the very source of these impulses:
Chara, the First Fallen Human.
Sword in hand, Chara smiles evilly at Boyfriend. There is a way to get it out of his head, and it is precisely what she knows how to do best: Rap. Microphone in hand, he sings while Chara hits him again and again with his knife. Boyfriend doesn't falter, even though he's frighteningly close to being knocked down at any moment. And soon...he is able to force Chara out of his head.
Sans waits for Boyfriend to return to reality, with his vengeful pupils apparently absent and, with them, his madness as well. He smiles at Boyfriend, not a smile of pain or murderous intent, but... just his usual big, goofy skeleton grin.
