Some of us are not very gifted draftsmen and many find it difficult to visualize their own ideas.
Especially in relation to coastlines, it may be that with all the effort no realistic coasts come to existence. This is not necessary, I want to show you here. As is so often the case in world-building, it is worthwhile to take a look at our earth and be inspired - or, if necessary, take over, mix and reassemble known things.
At https://opentopomap.org, matching shorelines can be found and cut out using the Windows snipping tool (or screenshots can be used as an alternative).
How the selected coastlines can be put together, I like to show you in the next part of the series.
