If you apply all those tricks, you'll be able to loot a lot of gold from your mailbox on a daily basis. It takes practice though, but eventually, if you work hard, you'll be able to dominate your server's market.
Here's a list of simple items you can start with, that will usually sell well :
-Epic gems
-Glyphs
-Food buffs
-Flasks
-Potions
-Leveling gear (greens & blues)
-Leather
-Ores & bars
-Fish
-Profession power leveling items (like mithril tubes,...)
-Herbs
-Volatiles
-Enchanting scrolls, dust & shards
Aquire them in the cheapest way possible, sell them when the prices are high! Start with one specific market, observe how the prices evolve over a week or so, and invest when the prices are good! AuctionLite has a nice "favorite items" function that will help you track the prices.
