At UFTV we are more than just a television station where students can get an exciting opportunity to create great content for our viewers. We gain real-world experience by working on news shows, cooking programs, talk shows, political debates, as well as highlighting exciting events and lectures around our campus and region. Each year we also live stream over 100 hours of UF sporting events like basketball, volleyball, football, and soccer.
This year we look forward to improving our live sports broadcasts to enhance your viewing experience. But, we need your help in improving our television production broadcasts. UFTV is in need of new equipment, such as HD studio cameras and graphics package that will give our broadcasts a more professional and polished look while providing us the training and experience of working with the latest industry standard cameras and graphics software.

It means that students like us will get to work with current, leading-edge technology that is used by professionals in the television production industry. Working with this cutting edge equipment will allow us to hit the ground running as we start on our new career. In my view, UFTV offers the best experience to get what is absolutely imperative to get a job after college. That is relevant, hands-on experience in college that prepares you for the real world. UFTV is an invaluable and amazing springboard for us to get real jobs after graduation.
