😡 Having a hectic day? Feeling really stressed? Need a quick way to ground yourself? Take a minute for yourself and try this breathing exercise challenge to relax and slow things down.

1. Find a quiet comfortable place to lay or sit down.
2. Clear your mind of all thoughts.
3. Take a long deep breath in and hold it for 1-2 seconds.
4. Exhale slowly until all air is gone and hold for 1-2 seconds.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until one minute has passed. Approximately 15 times.

You should feel more calm and relaxed now. Deep breathing exercises are one of the best ways to lower stress in the body and help lower blood pressure. When you breathe deeply, messages are sent to your brain to calm down and relax. Your brain relays this message to your body.
