How to open a wristwatch and change the battery
Hi! I'm sure everyone has a quartz watch that needs battery replacement from time to time. Unfortunately, this can cost upwards of five hundred rubles. What can you do? I'll show you a tool that can open the case of any waterproof watch. It's a metal bar with two extending beaks, which are moved by rotating a metal disc. Let's start repairing our collection with the "Generalskie" mechanical watch. The winding pinion screw came loose and jammed the movement. After removing the case, the screw was replaced and tightened with a safety razor blade.
The next model is the Okami quartz watch. Carefully remove the case and remove the battery with a miniature screwdriver. We'll do the same with other quartz watches. Now all that's left is to visit an electronics store and purchase the removed batteries.
