This is an old cover from highschool and I thought it was perfect to kick off Pride Month. I feel like so many younger people have no idea or concept of our history because we're not taught about LGBT anything outside of maybe a semester of queer literature in college. Our history is constantly erased, rebuilt, demonized and painted over so that bigots can act like being gay and trans is a new crazy concept that the youths are being corrupted by. I just want to celebrate and thank all of the queer veterans who fought for people like me to be free to be myself, to marry who I love, to transition to who I want to be. Have fun this month, and remember to educate yourself!
