Backups and saves are one of the most important things you can do on your system to safeguard your data. In this video, I'll show you some very simple software with a graphical interface that lets you run them quickly and easily on your Linux distribution, ensuring you always have backups of your important data.
In the video, I'll mention some software you can download and install through your distribution's software center. Some are better suited for GNOME desktops, others are better suited for KDE, but they can be used on all distributions if desired.
I'll also mention an old video of mine on Cryptomator, which, being unique but still focused on creating encrypted backups, might be particularly useful for you. I encourage you to watch it if you haven't already. I'll show you in detail not only how to use it but also how to ensure backups created with this software are ready to be securely hosted on cloud services.
The Cryptomator video can be viewed at the following link:
100% secure data backup anytime, anywhere with Cryptomator

The video is a bit long because the topic needed time to be covered in its essential parts, but it's divided into chapters, as I usually do, so you can watch it in its entirety or skip the parts you're not interested in or that you already know.
