Trapcode Form Oscilloscope with AE (tutorial)
Learn how to make simple oscilloscope waves with trapcode form plugin in abobe after effects.
OSCILLOSCOPE WITH TRAPCODE FORM
1-Create new COMPOSITION
2-Create a SOLID (Trapcode FORM needs a SOLID to work with), call it "SCOPE"
3-Apply effects/trapcode/form to the SOLID layer
4-FX window/FORM/Base Form/Base form BOX-STRINGS
5-FX window/FORM/Base Form/strings in Z "1", strings in Y "5"
6-FX window/FORM/Base Form/Adjust the size in Size "X" and "Y" (horizontal and vertical)
you can also change the size on Particle/size
7-FX window/FORM/Particle/Color (Change color), adjust transfer mode
8-FX window/FORM/Disperse and Twist/(do first twist and then disperse)
9-FX window/FORM/Baseform/String Settings/Density (makes lines thinker)
10-Mask the lines so that they have a STRAIGHT and CLEAN beginning and end
11-ANIMATE the waves. FX window/FORM/Base Form/X Rotation (create expression, ALT CLICK+STOP WATCH, time*100)
