To all our food lovers, this ones for you. We're taking you into the kitchen of the woman who taught me (Tal) everything I know. Warning: this video will make you hungry.
SOUP RECIPE
Ingredients:
extra virgin olive oil (a generous amount)
2 large carrots, chopped
3 leek stalks, chopped
4 celery stalks, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 medium turnips, chopped
Better Than Bouillon base (any flavour), dissolved according to package instructions
Directions:
1. In a large pot, sauté all the veggies in extra virgin olive oil for a few minutes, until the veggies turn "happy".
2. Add the Better Than Bouillon stock. Cover and let it simmer for one hour.
3. Optional: Add an herb like dill or parsley before serving.
ARTICHOKE SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients:
1/4 cup water
extra virgin olive oil, a few glugs
1 can artichoke hearts, quartered
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 lemon, peeled and chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. harissa
salt to taste
Directions:
1. Add all of the ingredients into a medium sauce pan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until red peppers have softened. Salt to taste.
