SKYFALL: Text-to-MIDI Generation with AudioCipher x Muse AI
We used AudioCipher's Text-to-Melody plugin with the Muse AI text-to-MIDI generator (Max4Live) to answer an unusual question: What does it sound like to hear streams of water flowing off the edge of a floating island in the sky?
In this video we share the full creative process from start to finish, including the MIDI text prompts used in both services.
The idea for this video was inspired by a conversation by AI video artist Tony J Matos, who suggested we elaborate on a mystical world from the early Final Fantasy game, Chrono Trigger.
The final arrangement draws inspiration from the OST's Zeal Theme by Yasunori Matsuda, including synth vocal pads and gamelan delay to evoke a world where the waterfalls have frozen.
