A brain zap, at least for me, is one of the scariest anxiety symptoms. For me these brain jolts felt like a strong electric charge that shot up from the back of my head and discharged in my brain. Every time this happened i would believe my brain was out for just a second. After that it left me with a kind of brain fogginess and of course in extreme panic.
