EDC22 Day 1 Talk 13: Espressif IDE for ESP IDF application development
Espressif’s Denys Almázov from Ukraine talks about the Espressif IDE for Application Development on ESP-IDF. This is a standalone integrated development environment built on top of Eclipse CDT, which has been customized to building ESP-IDF applications. Denys walks us through the various features of Espressif IDE, such as configuration and installation, project creation, build, flash, serial monitoring, application size analysis, heap memory analysis, and code editor features. Denys also shows some hacks and tips on how to boost developer productivity by using Espressif IDE.
