Live DUB [19/8/25] // Akemie's Castle, Cizzle, Particles, Three Sisters, Mimeophon
This jam ended up straying towards sort of stepper's rhythm territory. I started by sampling a chord from Akemie's Castle, which I played back on three channels of Squid (each channel set to different filter and pitch settings). I then sequenced chords from Cizzle over the top - these are filtered by Three Sisters and go through Mimeophon for delay. The Mimeophon reverb didn't quite work on these chords and so I passed them through MFX for reverb.
The beat sounds come from Akemie's Taiko, a filtered sine wave from TZ-VCO (which is the kick) and some samples on Squid, including a sample of some dried borlotti beans being shaken.
