Check out this tutorial on how to do the Chinese Ollie/Chinese Nollie, a really cool, but still easy enough freestyle trick that any beginner can learn.
A lot of skaters will treat a crack in the sidewalk like an nuisance, but if you know how to do the Chinese Ollie (made popular in Chinatown in San Francisco), nothing makes you happier than seeing a gnarly chunk of concrete sticking out of the ground.
