BMW E91 320d Urban Fuel Efficiency with Start-Stop After 184 km | Save Fuel in City Traffic
In this video, I present the average urban fuel consumption of my BMW E91 320d (163 HP) after driving a total of 184 km exclusively in the city. While some stretches benefited from lighter holiday traffic, most of the drive took place in heavy congestion. The average fuel consumption displayed is 8.4 L/100 km, occasionally reaching 8.5 L/100 km.
A key factor in improving fuel efficiency was using the start-stop function, which stops the engine at red lights and traffic stops. This feature alone helped reduce average fuel consumption by 1.3 L/100 km, compared to when it was disabled.
