How big is the CFG from the PDA to CFG conversion?
Here we ask the question of how big the CFG is from the PDA to CFG conversion. The CFG to PDA conversion, in contrast, results in a PDA where the size can be easily determined from only knowing the number of variables and rules in the CFG. Here, we determine that we can only know the number of Type I and Type II rules exactly (as well as number of variables), and for Type III, we can find a lower and upper bound on the number of rules.
