CONTI LEAKS EXPOSE INNER WORKINGS + NEW RANSOMWARE TARGETS UKRAINE
A new ransomware strain has been discovered in Ukrainian systems called PartyTicket / HermeticRansom. CrowdStrike released a report on this malware showing it has some flaws in the code that allows victims to get the decryption key. It also implies there may be a link to the previously reported wiper malware, HermeticWiper / DriveSlayer. We also talk about the recent Conti ransomware group leaks and what has been discovered, as well as a word of warning to those seeking to take matters into their own hands in cyberspace over the current war in Ukraine.
