How to make clotted cream at home! Ever wonder if it was easy to make clotted cream at home, I'm here to tell you it is! It's so easy, it just takes time, but that's all.
The video goes through the steps, so you can see how easy it is, along with what it looks like and what I used. However, if you want quick steps, here they are with time stamps if you want to jump to that specific point in the video to see what it looks like:
S T E P S & T I M E S T A M P S:
0:56 1 litre of whipping or heavy cream (35% MF)
1:16 9 x 12 inch baking pan
1:24 Dump cream into ungreased/unlined pan
1:42 Turn oven to 170-180 F
1:53 Place in middle of oven
1:58 Bake for 12 hours
2:19 Remove from oven, let cool
2:53 After cooled, cover and place in fridge for 5-7 hours
3:12 Peel and roll the top firm layer and place in jars
4:37 Keep in jars 5-7 days in fridge (I'm sure it won't last that long)
Clotted cream is so good on scones of course. I made this one small and round so they would be the perfect little vessels for clotted cream.

I used the leftover cream liquid for the scone recipes milk, and it was pretty much the exact amount I needed! Worked out perfectly!
