Police attacks demonstrants/barricades at osmanbey today in istanbul...
Today before lunch I went near Gezi Parki to check the situation. There are a few protesters on the street, trying to defend barricades that got build last night. The police approaches with trucks, shooting water cannon and tear gaz towards the demonstrants. I was behind and direkt with the police, while they started an attack. The protesters throwed stone towards them, the police immediately answers with tear gaz. A very sad and dangerous sitation right now in the center of Istanbul. I did not tried to reach Gezi Parki, dont know about the situation in the park and at Taksim square.
