I Like Ice Cream is part of a video series designed to help music teachers and learners better understand and communicate through music. For teachers, we hope these videos can serve as instructional materials in your classes. For learners, we hope that you also watch these videos on your own and find your own ways to learn and master these songs.

I Like Ice Cream is a game song in which children sit in a circle and take turns singing the flavor of ice cream that they like as the class passes around an ice cream container/imaginary microphone. What makes this song so great is that it gives every child the chance to sing a solo on one of their favorite subjects -Ice cream! . Our hope is that this video can introduce this song to teachers, helping them also learn how to play I Like Ice Cream, and that the video can also help students visualize the notes they will be singing and the structure and order of the game song they will soon be playing.
