My guitars and amplifiers are tools for creating music. In much the same way, my Mac Mini 2018 and Final Cut Pro X are the tools I use to create YouTube videos for Lando27music.
The Apple Mac Mini 2018 was released in late 2018 and has great features and overall performance. It does however lack in one area, the onboard GPU.
In this video the stock GPU, an Intel UHD Graphics 630, will go up against an external eGPU from Sonnet called the Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck.This eGPU is loaded with an AMD Radeon RX570.
In this video I’ll demonstrate the performance increase you can expect while using Final Cut Pro X with the Sonnet eGFX Breakaway Puck eGPU.I'll also include some graphics benchmarks from Geekbench 4 and Unigen Heaven.
