Just 2 days after launching on PC Halo Reach is now fully playable in VR by using the Vorpx software and these simple steps below:
Don't forget to subscribe, I'll love you forever if you do 😘
1. Open up the Vorpx configuration menu
2. Select cloud profiles
3. Download an Unreal engine 4 profile, I used Conarium
4. Go to local profiles
5. Select the downloaded Unreal 4 profile and then select create a new profile using this one
6. Name the new profile something like Halo MCC or Halo Reach
7. If you purchased through Steam simply tell this profile to attach to the Halo MCC .exe file wherever it may be installed on your PC
8. Launch the game and play 😁 You may need to check first to see if Vorpx had created a default profile for MCC, if thats the case remove that profile first.
If you purchased the game through the Windows store or PC gamepass then you cannot access the exe file and cannot tell Vorpx to attach to it as it is locked away in a folder, therefore you must do the following:
After creating the copied Unreal 4 Vorpx profile go to your desktop and create a blank notepad/txt file called "mcc-win64-shipping-winstore.exe", it's important that you include the "/quotation marks in the file name. Once you've done this tell Vorpx to attach the profile to this text document. Vorpx is then smart enough to do the rest of the work and figure out where the actual exe file is that it needs to attach to.
I hope you all enjoy Halo Reach in VR, please don't forget to subscribe! 😘
